Where does our name comes from? Our name comes from my favorite flower. This beautiful flower, which lives in the murkiest of water, pokes its head above the surface, and opens its beautiful petals in the morning as the Sun rises, and close at night.

The lotus flower symbolizes beauty, prosperity, health and vitality. The leaf itself has many medicinal properties.

For me, it is a reminder that with a holistic approach to nutrition, we too, can rise above the murky water (our unhealthy lifestyles), and strive for which the lotus symbolizes.
